Neither Knoch nor Liu Shaolin succeeded to get into the quarterfinals in 1000m. Bernadett Heidum got into the semi-final in 1000 meters, however she did not manage to reach the final.
Gold medals went to the Chinese Vang Meng and to the South-Korean Szin Da Vun in 1000 meters.
