János Kornai, Széchenyi Prize-winning economist, member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, professor of Harvard University and Corvinus emeritus, honorary member of the French Order of Honor, honorary member of the Swedish, American and other academies, Honorary Doctor of the University of Debrecen, died on Monday at the age of 94.
