85 graduates of the Faculty of Health of the University of Debrecen, certified nurses, certified health social workers, ambulance officers, midwives, and wards, received their diplomas on Friday at the graduation ceremony held at the main building of the University of Debrecen.

Today is one of the most beautiful holidays of their lives, which is given special importance by the possibility of personal presence. Three years ago, at the graduation ceremony, I said that the graduates should remember the process of the acquired knowledge, and the time spent together. However, for current graduates, the past years have also meant finding answers to epidemiological challenges, traditional classroom lessons have been replaced by the impersonality of online learning and exams. The treatment of the epidemic situation would have been impossible without the work of the volunteer students studying social health education, in such a special situation, under such a workload, the current academic year had to be completed

– emphasized Marianna Móré, dean of the Faculty of Health at the University of Debrecen.

The head of the faculty emphasized: that the students chose a profession based on helping and supporting. In the volunteer work, they could already experience how much humanity, empathy, and the treatment of loneliness are needed in addition to the acquired knowledge.

At the graduation ceremony held on June 8, 85 students of the Faculty of Health – certified nurses, certified health social workers, certified health teachers, certified social work and social economy specialists, nurses, ambulance officers, midwives, nurses, health organizers, social workers, addiction consultants – received their diploma.
