Where sport is a game, movement is a joy, and family takes center stage – the sports campus on Dóczy Street is opening its gates once again for the traditional May 1st Family Day, hosted by the University of Debrecen’s sports club, DEAC.
At the DEAC Family Day, representatives from more than twenty sports departments will welcome children, offering them the chance to discover their hidden talents. Youngsters can try on sports gear, learn the basics through fun challenges, and if they find something they love, they can even sign up on the spot.
There’ll be loads of fun activities – kids can jump around in the inflatable castle, get creative in the crafts corner, and of course, face painting and glitter tattoos will be part of the fun too.
The organizers are also preparing spectacular performances – cheerleaders, majorettes, and Shotokan karate athletes will all take the stage, along with some surprise acts.
The event is free to attend, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., everyone is welcome to come and give the activities a try.

This year, DEAC is once again participating in the “Move TOGETHER Debrecen!” initiative and the nationwide “Sporting Nation” program to welcome all interested visitors.
