The police caught sixteen people and took another twenty-four to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
Eleven perpetrators were caught in the act of committing crimes and five were taken into custody on the basis of warrants for arrest issued by the court of Debrecen. Eleven people were taken to police stations as suspects.
There were four traffic accidents from which one was fatal, one resulted in serious injuries and two in minor ones.
A 42 year old Romanian man wanted to check out at the Debrecen Airport when it turned out that a warrant for arrest was issued against him by the central court of Pest. The foreigner was taken to the police station of Debrecen.
