From now on, new, “omnispective” speed traps help the work of the police – announced the Hungarian National Police.
The police purchased 160 pieces of vhKKEP speed traps, which will be located throughout the country within a few months. The new speed traps have 12 functions: speed control, automatic number plate recognition, traffic count, traffic jam detection, solid white line crossing recognition, no entry violation recognition, ahead only violation recognition, detection of vehicles carrying dangerous goods, menacing violation recognition, detection of the violation of rules concerning level crossings, traffic lights ignoration recognition, safety-belt usage detection.
