A man and a woman were arrested for robbing a man on Petőfi Tér, Debrecen.
According to the available information, a woman asked light from a man on 27 November 2016. While they were talking, the son of the woman tried to steal the man’s wallet from his bag. When the man noticed that they wanted to rob him, he tried to stop them. After the incident, the two perpetrators ran away.
The victim called the police immediately, who managed to catch the robbers within a short time.
The 37-year-old Aranka B. and her 22-year-old son were taken to the Debrecen police station, where procedures were initiated against them on reasonable suspicion of robbery.
