The government is inviting applications for 10.4 billion forints (EUR 28.8m) in grant money to support technology upgrades and efficiency improvements at microbusinesses and SMEs in the construction sector, state secretary Attila Steiner said.
Applications will be assessed and grant money decided on a case-by-case basis, Steiner said. Microbusinesses may apply for between 8 million and 50 million forints, and SMEs for 25-400 million. Applications will be accepted starting February 15. The tender is the fifth such one that aims to support the modernisation of the construction sector based on market demand. Earlier tenders were called in 2018 and 2019.
