In the summer of 2024, the Debrecziner Gourmet Festival will be held for the 8th time in Nagyerdő, Debrecen. From June 14 to 16, some of the finest restaurants and chefs from across Hungary will gather in the city to showcase the current heights of Hungarian gastronomy. In addition to Debrecen’s top restaurants, guest exhibitors will include renowned celebrity chefs. Whether it’s fine dining establishments, bistros, or food trucks, you can be sure that dishes will be created with bold creativity, constantly exploring new directions and daring flavor combinations.
Visitors to this three-day culinary gathering can look forward to mouthwatering bites, exciting textures, and unique ingredient pairings—as well as fantastic desserts, craft beers, premium wines, and inventive cocktails.
The Debrecziner Gourmet Award, established in 2018, will once again be awarded based on public votes to the best exhibitor. Confirmed participants already include: Iszkor (Mályinka), Páva (Székelyudvarhely), Bobajka (Tarcal), Almavirág (Derecske), and Horgonyzó (Tiszalök).
Top-notch musical experiences are also on the menu: on Saturday, Palya Bea and her band will take the stage, followed by Zaporozsec on Sunday.
