Another wing of the building has been upgraded and transferred to the Department of Infectious and Pediatric of the University of Debrecen. The investment costs 18 million Huf.
They have formed a new research laboratory in the basement of the building
to help the young researchers. In the future, they will be able to carry out gene mutation and diagnostic tests. Inside the 34-square-meter gymnasium the physical therapists will work.
The 50-person classroom is primarily for educational purposes. In addition,
they can held conferences and the meetings of the Hungarian Association of
Patients immunocompromised in the future.
Laszlo Marodi, the head of the Department of Infectious and Pediatric
said at the opening ceremony that the development was needed to further
improve the conditions of the education, treatment and research.
They may give an appropriate background for the national and international work.
