The main theme will be the Czech Republic in the Medgyessy Memorial Museum.
This year’s Night of Museums series of events will focus on the Czech Republic. Since the Déri Museum and the Reformed College are being renovated, they won’t be open for visiting. For this reason, the organizers expect congestion at the other sites.
On the courtyard of the Medgyessy Memorial Museum visitors can find out about Czech culture, music, dance, folk art and gastronomy. The beer history exhibition will count as a real curiosity.
Krisztián Kukla director of the Modem said they are organizing exhibitions and performances for interested ones. In the restoration workshop, for example, restorers will acquaint visitors with the mysteries of their work. On Baltazár Dezső Square family programs will be organized while concerts on the inner courtyard of the art center.
