On Saturday afternoon, a family was seen walking without clothes, completely naked, in one of Debrecen’s quiet residential areas. In the video recorded of the incident, it is clearly visible that the father, mother, and their child were walking quickly down the street, even though the temperature was only around 10°C.
According to RTL Hiradó, the family had left a nearby hotel naked, and hotel staff brought blankets after them. Dehir reports that the parents set out naked because they wanted to “drive the devil” out of their child.
Witnesses alerted the ambulance service, who transported the family to a hospital. Police told RTL that the parents are being investigated for endangering a minor. Authorities arranged care for the young girl and also notified child protection services about the case.
