The police caught five people and took another twenty-four to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
Three perpetrators were caught in the act of committing crimes and two others were taken into custody on the basis of warrants for arrest issued by the court of Debrecen. Seven people were taken to police stations as suspects.
There were six traffic accidents from which three resulted in serious injuries and three in minor ones.
Two women were caught stealing tablets in a supermarket in Debrecen. After the security guard called the police, the 46 and 49 year old perpetrators were taken to the police station where procedures were initiated against them on reasonable suspicion of theft.
