The police caught five people and took another thirty-five to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
Five perpetrators were caught in the act of committing crimes and another one was taken into custody on the basis of a warrant for arrest issued by the court of Debrecen. Sixteen people were taken to police stations as suspects.
There were four traffic accidents from which all resulted in minor injuries.
A 29 year old man was caught stealing two bottles of liqueur in a supermarket in Debrecen yesterday morning. After the security guards called the police, the perpetrator was taken to the Debrecen police station where a procedure was initiated against him on reasonable suspicion of theft.
