Indian man used fake identity card

A 38-year-old Indian man was taken to the Hajdúhadház police station for using a fake identity card.

A man with Romanian identity card wanted to leave the country at the Nyírábrány border crossing point on 9 November 2016. The man was driving a Skoda vehicle that had a Spanish number plate. Customs officers went through the car and they also checked the man’s identity card.

During the checking, customs officers have found another identity card. It turned out that the man tried to use a fake one, and said that he had bought to use it to go on trips.

It also turned out that the German authorities have issued a warrant for arrest against him.

A procedure was initiated against the 38-year-old man on reasonable suspicion of forgery of official documents.
