21-year-old man arrested for stealing pastry

A 21-year-old man was arrested by the police for breaking into a Debrecen bakery.

The police were called at 2 a.m. on 22 December 2019 that an unknown man had broken into a bakery on Egyetem Sugárút, Debrecen. After the call, the police went to the scene and managed to identify and catch the perpetrator.

The 21-year-old man was taken to the police station, where he said that he was at a party with his friends, and as he was walking home, suddenly he got very hungry. When he realized that the bakery was closed, he decided to kick the window of the front door and eat some pastry.

A procedure was initiated against the young man on reasonable suspicion of theft.
