Three people died in a car crash on the M5 motorway late on Sunday night, police.hu reported.
According to the police, a vehicle was travelling on the motorway towards Szeged when it flew over the barrier at Kecskemét and collided with another car. According to the available information, two people died instantly, and later one of the injured died, according to a statement on the police’s website.
Police have closed the Budapest-bound side of the motorway while the scene is being investigated, with vehicles being diverted off the motorway at junction 90.
