General assembly of Debrecen supports the idea of organizing the Olympic Games in Hungary in 2020.
As Debrecen’s mayor László Papp said, thanks to “Agenda 2020” (olympics reform programme), it might happen that other Hungarian cities can organize some of the olympic events apart from Budapest, in case our country has the right to host the Games in 2020.
According to him, it can also happen that in the case of a successful application of our capital, Debrecen will also be the host of some of the olympic programmes.
