The idea of forming an intermodal public transport center on Petofi Square has been on carpet for many years. Now plans are kindling again – the local government has ordered feasibility plans.
As the Vice-Mayor Zoltan Pajna informed, the distance between the bus and the train station has always caused problems and they want to form a western-style combined public transport center. They plan to have the terminals of local and suburban buses, trains, trolleys and trams together in a huge complex.
