Leukemia Congress at Hajdúszoboszló

Leukemia is the most common malignant tumor in children: there are more than 300 new patients annually in Hungary.

More than a hundred hematologists arrive from Bulgaria, Poland, Macedonia, Romania, Slovakia and Serbia to Hajdúszoboszló, to the 9th regional oncohematological congress of central-eastern and southeast Europe. The congress makes part of the 17th meeting of Romanian-Hungarian child oncologists as well.

There will be nine sections about leukemia, hemophilia and other diseases.

The opening ceremony of the congress is at 13.30, 9th October, at Hunguest Hotel Aqua Sol, in Hajdúszoboszló.
