László Bognár, neurosurgeon, professor and director of the Clinic, presented a special neuroendoscopic treatment: with the help of a 3D endoscope, surgeons could see the area in 3D during the surgery. Neuroendoscopic surgery is appreciated for its tendency to disturb very little healthy tissue; that is why it is called “keyhole” surgery.

This 3D technology is still under development, however once it is finished, it could help to eliminate such tumors that could not have been operated in the past.
