A delegation from the Chinese Huzhou University visited the University of Debrecen on 4 November 2016.
The Huzhou University was founded in 1958; now it has 18 thousands students and 11 faculties.
László Csernoch, vice-rector hosted the Chinese guests. Csernoch gave a brief presentation about the university, its researches and its international connections.
The University of Debrecen has a great number of foreign students; almost 4000 students from 100 countries are studying at the university, from whom 187 are Chinese – said Csernoch.
After the meeting, members of the delegation visited the main building, the Egyetem Tér campus, the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Economic Sciences and the Faculty of Engineering.
