Rehabilitative services of Kenézy Gyula Hospital have been improved recently from the 600 million euros support provided by the European Union.
Now there are 800 active, 300 rehabilitative and 250 chronic beds in the hospital. According to Zsolt Lampé, head of the institution, standard of the hospital has become much higher due to the improvements, since there was no opportunity for patients before to take part in rehabilitative programmes after being treated at the hospital.
Kenézy Gyula Hospital bought 120 modern rehabilitative beds and furnished a gym with various sports equipment for patients.
