Plan for renovating the whole building of Csokonai Theatre will be ready for next spring and renovation works will start during the season of 2016/2017.
According to Szabolcs Komolay, five billion HuF is saved for the reconstruction of the theatre and the documentation of the plans will cost about 200 million.
The 150-year-old building had 86,000 visitors in the jubilee season and more than 13,000 visitors bought season tickets.
