What is happening in the fuel sector at the moment is unbelievable, Holtankoljak.hu points out in its announcement. Wholesale prices for petrol and diesel will also continue to rise on Friday. In the case of petrol this means HUF 3 gross, in the case of diesel the increase is HUF 5 gross. With this step, the gas stations will buy diesel more expensive than they can sell for, as the maximum selling price can be HUF 480 due to the price cap.
We have to expect that filling stations will close due to official prices, which is valid until 15 February

Without the price cap, average prices would be as follows:
- 95 petrol: 512 HUF / liter
- Diesel oil: 530 HUF / liter
