Two reporters of U.S. news television Fox News were killed when their car was shot near Kyiv on Tuesday. A third journalist traveling with them was injured, the television reported. Pierre Zakrzewski, a television video journalist and a Ukrainian colleague, Aleksandra (Sasa) Kuvsinova, were killed in an incident in Horenka, a reporter Benjamin Hall was taken to hospital.
Pierre Zakrzewski reported on Fox television from Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria. Fox later announced the death of Kuvsinova, who helped the work of television journalists. Well-known American documentary filmmaker and veteran war correspondent Brent Renaud died on Sunday when Russian soldiers opened fire on his vehicle. He was the first foreign journalist victim of the conflict.
