Finance Minister Mihály Varga estimated Hungary’s economic growth in 2021 at 6.8-6.9%.
Speaking at the opening of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Hajdú-Bihar County, Varga said this was the best full-year GDP growth figure of the past thirty years. Economic growth is expected to slow down this year but will still exceed 5%, he added.
