Wizz Air considers to terminate its contract with Malév Ground Handling

Europe

On Friday (2nd of August), Wizz Air announced that they might terminate their contract with Malév Ground Handling.

Diederik Pen, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Wizz Air, claimed in a statement that Malév Ground Handling is currently breaching legal obligations by charging Wizz Air passengers a higher price than what was announced to them prior to their journey, and selling them services which cannot be found in Wizz Air offers.

Malév Ground Handling does not accept boarding passes downloaded to phones in pdf, instead fines everyone who wants to travel like this 30 euros.

Diderik Pen also said that Wizz Air imposes strict passenger management requirements and expects all partners in its extensive network to meet them.
