After the draining works, rats have been proliferated around Domokos Lajos Street. The residents of the area say that the animals are even crawling in the stairways.
The draining company says that the works had disturbed the place of the rats, that’s why they are coming up and looking for food.
The residents have put rat poison in the cellars but it did not help.
The local government heard the the complaints and has started to take care of them: they have put poison in the canals. If this is not working, they will repeat the operation.
