On Sunday, on the occasion of the Day of Birds and Trees, various demonstrative programmes are going to be held in the Botanical Garden and at the Békás Lake in Debrecen.
On the occasion of the Day of Birds and Trees, the Hajdú-Bihar County group of MME is organizing bird ringing that is going to be held in the Botanical Garden of Debrecen at 9-12 am.,6 May, Sunday. The bird ringing is going to be performed by Dr. Lajos Juhász. On the same day, interested ones can learn about nightingales and listen to their charming song during a short, bird-watching walk that starts at 7 pm. The program lasts until twilight. Interested ones are going to meet at the bridge over Békás Lake.
