More than 200 university students and professors signed up for the bike ride to this year’s Flower Carnival.Participants of the ride will wear T-shirts decorated with the new university logo. The University of Debrecen takes part in the event for the third time this year. The university gives the participants not only T-shirts, but – thanks to the Unibike – bicycles, too.
The ride will be launched on the 20th of August at 7:10 am from Miklós street. The bikers will ride towards the Old People’s Home on Pallagi street via Piac street, Kossuth square, Hatvan street, Bethlen street, Egyetem Avenue, Nagyerdei Boulevard.
Then there will be a competition for the prize of the most beautifully decorated bike: photos of the bikers and their bicycles will be taken and uploaded to the Facebook page of Irány Debrecen, where everyone can vote for the most beautiful bike.
