This year, the Debrecen municipality again acquired a community Christmas tree through a public donation.
The 2025 tree is a 14-meter-tall silver fir from Zsolt Pápai, transported from Tüdős Klára Street to Kossuth Square.
The tree was erected on Friday, November 21, and its festive lights will be turned on in the evening of November 30, the first Sunday of Advent.
