Record breaking warm weather was reported in Budapest and in Kübekháza on 29 October.
According to the Hungarian Meteorology Service, the highest temperature was 27,1 Celsius degrees in Kübekháza, Csongrád County on 29 October 2018. Earlier, the record was 25,9 Celsius that was reported in 1923 in Szerep, Csongárd County.
Budapest also broke a record; today, the highest temperatures hit 24,3 Celsius degrees. In 1928, the record was 23,5 Celsius degrees.
Weather forecasts say that sunny and warm weather continues. The lowest temperatures will be around 11-18 Celsius degrees and highest will be between 17-23 Celsius degrees.
