Mostly sunny but cooler than average weather expected this week

The coming week will bring mostly sunny weather with scattered cumulus clouds, but temperatures will remain cooler than average. In some areas, early morning temperatures may drop to around 0°C, with daytime highs ranging between 14 and 20°C. From Thursday onward, rain and showers are expected in several regions, according to the forecast from HungaroMet Zrt.

Monday:
In the southwest, cloud cover will decrease slowly, and skies may remain overcast near the border, with light rain or drizzle possible in the morning. Elsewhere, several hours of sunshine are expected, although showers may develop in northeastern areas. The north to northeasterly wind may pick up at times. Highs will range from 14 to 20°C.

Tuesday:
Partly cloudy to sunny weather is expected, with isolated showers possible. Northerly and northeasterly winds may be brisk. Overnight lows will mostly be between 3 and 9°C, but could drop to around 0°C in colder spots. Daytime highs will remain between 14 and 20°C.

Wednesday:
Several hours of sunshine are likely with a low chance of showers. Winds will shift from northwest to west and then southwest, with occasional gusts. Morning temperatures will generally range from 2 to 7°C, with around 0°C in colder areas. Afternoon temperatures will climb to 16–22°C.

Thursday:
A frontal cloud system will move in from the north, bringing rain and showers to many places, especially in the eastern parts of the country, with the possibility of thunderstorms. Winds will shift from southwest to north and may be strong to gusty. Overnight lows will range from 4 to 12°C, with daytime highs between 14 and 23°C, cooler in the northeast.

Friday:
Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with occasional sunshine and some rain or showers. Northerly winds may be strong or even stormy in places. Morning temperatures will range from 0 to 8°C, with daytime highs between 14 and 20°C.

Saturday:
Mostly cloudy or partly cloudy conditions are expected, again with some sunshine and a chance of rain or showers. Northerly winds could be strong in many areas. Morning temperatures will be between 0 and 8°C, rising to 14–20°C in the afternoon.

Sunday:
A mix of sunshine and moderate to heavy cloud cover is expected, with scattered rain or showers possible. Northwesterly winds may be strong in places. Morning temperatures between 1 and 9°C will rise to 14–20°C during the day.
