The investigation was finished by the police.
The police were called to a road accident on 30 March 2018 on Petőfi Utca, Hajdúnánás. According to the available information, a man was driving his vehicle while he was drunk, drifted off the road and crashed into a tree.
Besides the driver, there was one passenger in the car, who suffered so serious injuries that he died immediately.
The police have initiated a procedure against the 56-year-old driver on reasonable suspicion of drunk driving.
The police have finished the investigation; all the documents were sent to the Prosecutor’s Office.
