The Létavértes border guards caught drunk drivers and a wanted man

Two drunken drivers were screened out of traffic and a person was arrested by the police of the Létavértes border police branch, police.hu published.

A Romanian citizen wanted to enter the country as a passenger car driver on the morning of September 2 at the Létavértes Road Border Crossing. During the identification, the uniformed officers used a breathalyzer on the man, which showed a positive value. A criminal complaint was filed against him.

The next day, patrols from the Létavértes Border Police Branch checked a driver in the hinterland of Kismarja. During the inspection, it turned out that the Nyírbátor Police Department had issued a warrant against him because he did not go in to serve his detention for violation of the rules. The man was arrested by the officers, and after paying the fine, he was free to leave.

A breathalyzer was also detected in the case of a Romanian driver on the morning of September 4. Based on the measured value, the police imposed an administrative fine.
