Get ready for a day filled with hamburgers, steaks, barbecues, live concerts, craft beers, cooking demonstrations, and performances, all set against the backdrop of the shady trees in the Great Forest Park! On 7 September, Debrecen will once again transform into the burger capital of the country for one full day.
The fourth edition of the Szaft ‘N Burger festival will take place around Lake Békás in the Great Forest Park, dedicated entirely to burgers. The event will host various competitions, including professional individual contests, amateur, freestyle, and junior categories, along with a team competition where families, friends, and corporate teams can showcase their culinary skills in both the steak and burger categories.
The professional competition will offer big cash prizes, valuable gifts, and, of course, the coveted winner’s trophy.
In addition to the burger and steak challenges, the event will feature professional burger and grill workshops, live music, delicious craft beers, and mouth-watering burgers and barbecue treats.
Entry to the event is free for all visitors.
