Cumulonimbus-sunny weather is expected over the weekend, there may be scattered rain, showers, and some thunderstorms. The peak temperature will be between 19-26 degrees Celsius, it will be cooler in cloudy areas – according to the national medium-term forecast of the National Meteorological Service.
A lot of sunshine is expected on Friday, along with cumulus clouds. A shower may occur in the afternoon, with a higher chance in the southwestern regions and the northeastern border region. The northerly wind intensifies in the northwestern regions and remains moderate and weak elsewhere. The highest daytime temperature is expected to be between 19 and 24 degrees.
Thicker clouds will drift over the country from the northwest and north on Saturday, and more and more sunshine is likely as you move towards the south. In the northern half of the country, there may be scattered rain, showers, and sometimes thunderstorms, while further south the chance of precipitation is lower. East of the Danube, it will be northeasterly, while in Transdanubia, it will be weak or moderate in a southeasterly direction. In the morning, it is usually 5 or 11 degrees, but it can be a few degrees colder in the northeastern regions. The peak temperature in the afternoon is usually between 20 and 26 degrees.
On Sunday, the cloud blocks will slowly move to the east, so in addition to the formation of cumulus clouds during the day, a lot of sunshine is likely. In the second half of the day, veil clouds will begin to increase from the west, and scattered showers and thunderstorms may occur. The wind from the northeast and east may pick up at times, and stormy gusts may occur in the vicinity of thunderstorms. The minimum temperature will be between 8 and 14 degrees, the maximum between 18 and 26 degrees, and it will be cooler in the most cloudy northeastern regions.
