The Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Debrecen has another dual partner. Pursuant to the cooperation agreement concluded with HM Zrínyi Nonprofit Kft., The students of the Institute of Earth Sciences of the faculty can acquire modern geoinformation methods related to Hungarian defense already during their university education.

– The dual courses of the University of Debrecen are very successful, as the close connection of traditionally, high-level education with industry strengthens the cooperation, provides students with up-to-date knowledge, and provides companies with an excellent supply of professionals. The Faculty of Science and Technology places special emphasis on this form of training and is constantly increasing the number of dual partners, said Ferenc Kun, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology.

The newest dual partner of the faculty is HM Zrínyi Cartography and Communication Service Public Benefit Nonprofit Ltd. The agreement on this was signed by Dean Ferenc Kun and Gábor Kulcsár, the managing director of the Ltd., on June 1 in Budapest.

The HM Zrínyi Nonprofit Kft. represents all segments of data collection, data processing, and cartography, its portfolio is unique in Hungary. Thus, students can acquire practical skills that are invaluable in the labor market in accordance with their geoinformatics qualifications,

– said Gábor Kulcsár, Managing Director of HM Zrínyi Nonprofit Kft.

The purpose of the cooperation agreement is to provide the students of the Institute of Earth Sciences of the Faculty with practical training opportunities and to provide the Hungarian Army with geoinformation and cartography support at HM Zrínyi Nonprofit Kft. available expertise, the supply of specialists should be ensured in the long run.
