Following the laying of the foundation stone in September, the spectacular phase of construction began in the southern industrial park between Krones and Vitesco Technologies, said Lajos Barcsa, Deputy Mayor of Debrecen.
It turns out from the community registration that if everything goes according to plan, production can start in 2023, which will allow Debrecen to produce 10% of the separator foils needed for the world’s electric cars. The state will provide HUF 13 billion in support for the more than HUF 65 billion project, which will create 440 new jobs in Debrecen.
