University of Debrecen and Teva strengthen their strategic partnership with a new PhD scholarship program

The Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Debrecen and Teva Pharmaceutical Works Ltd. have reached a new milestone in their ongoing strategic partnership. On June 3, 2025, representatives of both the university and the company agreed that Teva will now offer scholarships to PhD students and support their training through specialized courses.

For the first time this year, the Ministry of Culture and Innovation will present the University of the Year 2025 award in eight categories. The festive awards gala will be held on Thursday evening, May 29, at the Várkert Bazár in Budapest. The event will be broadcast on M5 television from 9 PM.

Strengthening academic cooperation between Debrecen and Montreal

Thanks to the results of an interdisciplinary research program launched a year and a half ago, a general cooperation agreement between Concordia University in Montreal and the University of Debrecen will soon support research into the history of Hungarians living in Canada. The partnership may also pave the way for additional joint projects.
