One of the biggest summer music festivals outside of Budapest has officially begun: Campus Festival 2025 kicks off today in Debrecen.
Alongside headliners like Jason Derulo, American electropop duo The Chainsmokers, English superstar John Newman — known for blending funk, soul, and modern pop — and alternative rock legends The Dandy Warhols, six additional international acts will further strengthen this year’s Campus Festival lineup.
All 21 program venues have been completed, and the capacity of the main stage area has been expanded from the previous 16,000-18,000 to 22,000-23,000 people, said Festival Director Péter Miklósvölgyi on Tuesday during a press tour of the Campus Festival, which opens on Wednesday.
